Breast Cancer Awareness month kicks off with a splash this weekend, as survivors, designers and supporters gather for the Celebrate Life! fashion show at the Shore and Country Club in East Norwalk. Splash of Pink, Westports Lilly Pulitzer retailer, will provide the looks, all to be modeled by local cancer survivors.
Im so happy to be supporting The Breast Cancer Survival Center and all these women, says Amy Cesaratto, Splash of Pinks owner. To be able to raise awareness against the backdrop of a quintessential womans brand like Lilly Pulitzer feels right. The brand has always been a big supporter of this cause.
Models will shine in Lilly Pulitzers signature bright pinks and other happy hues as they walk the catwalk not just to raise awareness, but to celebrate their own strength. I cant wait for women to see this scarf, says Amy. The Murfee is Lillys best-selling item ever. We havent done one for this cause in a few years, and people still come in asking for it.
