This time of year is both festive and charitable. Area designer Maria Barraza is helping fuse the two by teaming up with the locally-based international non-profit Save the Children for a fashion show and fundraiser. Models will show off Marias signature pieces in feminine silhouettes and opulent shades, perfect pieces for holiday attire. Afterwards, the designs will be available at a trunk show. Part of the events proceeds will benefit Save the Childrens global efforts. This is your chance to do good as you find your next great look.
Its all happening Saturday, November 13, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Blackstone Textiles in Westport. Tickets are free and you can grab yours by calling 203-564-6583.
