Fairfield County Ranks Third in State for Health

Fairfield County's a healthy place to live...but not as healthy as other parts of Connecticut. So get out and run! Pull up our scores. A new study by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation examined "health factors" such as access to health care, education, environment, and whether folks in Fairfield County work out, drink, smoke and have "unsafe sex." The results? Fairfield County ranked fourth in Connecticut for "health factors" and third for "health outcomes," which rates quality of life and length of life. Tolland County topped the list in both categories.
