Eat, Travel, Love and Eat Some More

Are you an ethnic food fan? A lover of multi-cultural gastronomic delights? Or maybe just someone who loves to eat your way across continents? Then Chef Prasad Chirnomula of Thali restaurants has an experience for you to sink your teeth into.

Chef Chirnomula wants to take you on a culinary tour of his native India. Spend 16 days in the Indian SubContinent touring the land of Tandoori Chicken and Dal Makhani during his Gourmet India 2011 food junket, which includes Diwali, India’s Festival of Lights.

Why go to such lengths? For Chef Chirnomula, it’s simple. He wants to “uplift the stature of Indian food, bring it to the American mainstream, and change the very way it’s thought of and perceived by the nation.” With his five successful Thali locations, Chef Chirnomula is already well on his way to achieving his goal.

I can’t think of a better way to enjoy India than with a native epicurean, can you?
