Drive Greener

Decreasing your environmental impact doesn't just mean buying a more gas-efficient vehicle. The way you drive can significantly affect your car's level of carbon emissions. Here are a few tips to help you drive greener:

*  Avoid "jack rabbit" acceleration: "Flooring" the gas pedal wastes gas and leads to higher pollution rates.

*  Think ahead: Anticipate stops so your vehicle can coast to a slow-down.

*  Follow the speed limit: Not only does driving 75 miles per hour instead of 65 increase carbon emissions it also lowers your fuel economy by about 10 percent.
