Hold onto your dinner napkins, Fairfield County foodies. The Philip Johnson Glass House has partnered with the epicureans behind Harvest to Heat to create an event you wont forget. Theyre calling it Dine with Design and it promises to be a celebration of food and the land it comes from.
Saturday, June 11 from noon to 3:00 p.m., guests can explore the Glass House site, buildings and grounds art collections while sampling food inspired by the setting. Five award-winning chefs, including Westports own Bill Taibe of LeFarm, will create dishes from locally sourced ingredients.
Dine with Design provides a unique opportunity to open the property for picnicking and wandering at-will through Philip Johnsons exceptional architectural creations for one very special afternoon, says Rena Zurofsky, Glass House interim executive director.
Other participating chefs include Michel Richard (Central Michel Richard), Brian Lewis (formerly of the Bedford Post Inn), Lee Chizmar (Bolete), and Derek Wagner (Nicks on Broadway).
Tickets are $300 per person. It isnt often that the culinary gods align planets and chefs like this, so grab yours here while theyre still available. Proceeds benefit The Philip Johnson Glass House.
