Classic Cars Converge

Classic cars owned by Connecticut Seaport Car Club members cruised into the Fresh Market parking lot in Westport tonight, for spectators to admire and even, sit in. Club President Mark Milosky, who owns two Edsels, a '58 and '59, said the club has about 70 members who frequently participate in shows. One of his Edsels was featured recently in Stamford Museum's "Model Ts to Mustangs." Greg Deluca has owned his 1935 Ford Custom Rack Body since 1986. It took him six years to restore, which he did himself (conveniently, he's a mechanic by trade.) His wife restored its interior. To see the car is to know, this couple has skills! Myron Semchuk brought his gleaming 1956 Plymouth Belvedere to display and his daughter Annie, who shares her father's passion for cars, drove her 1967 Dodge Dart convertible to the meet. Bob Dupuis is also an Edsel owner. His is a 1960 model. His other car is a '78 Mustang. Next up for club members is Memorial Day weekend's "Wings & Wheels" in Stratford, where classic cars -- and planes -- will dazzle. For more information, visit Connecticut Seaport Car Club's website.
