Didi Emmons, the self-proclaimed roving eco-chef is coming to Fairfield. Emmons, also an author, educator and former restaurateur, will be at Barcelona Wine Bar & Restaurant in Fairfield this Saturday, March 31 for a cocktail and dinner party.
Emmons latest cookbook, Wild Flavors: One Chefs Transformative Year Cooking from Evas Farm will serve as the inspiration in Barcelonas kitchen for the evening. In addition to the restaurants regular menu, theyll also serve dishes from the book featuring things like juniper berries, sunchokes and lovage, all prepared by Adam Halberg, Barcelonas Culinary Director.
Cocktails happen from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., and dinner starts at 7:00. Reservations are definitely required. Make yours by calling (203) 255-0800.
