Cats might have an alleged nine lives, but trying to calculate your dog's age is somewhat more tricky.
In fact, the go-to formula for calculating a dog's age (seven human years to every one dog year) isn't as accurate as you might've thought.
According to Web MD, Dogs actually mature more quickly in their first two years of life than children, and the first year of a dog's life is equal to approximately 15 human years, not seven. Your dog's size and breed also have a bearing on their longevity.
