Beau Soleil is shining its subtle, sensual light on next year. Yesterday, the local lines spring 2011 look book arrived in my inbox. Since then, I havent been able to turn away.
Anne Epstein, the Westport-based designing woman behind the Beau Soleil label, has woven together a spring line thats sleek and elegant, with an urban edge. Anne retains her signature flowing silhouettes and achieves style that is effortlessly sexy. But this time shes also playing with hints of texture in unexpected places. One of my favorite pieces is the Beau Pluto legging. Lower-waisted and in a cashmere-like organic fabric, the cable knit detail down the calf goes low and slouchy, and hugging the top of a heel. The result is, in a word, hot.
Flowing tunics, flirty dresses, cozy wraps round out Beau Soleils luxurious spring 2011 collection. Slip into any of these pieces and youll turn heads without even trying.
