I got a great invitation today from Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, the furniture store in Greenwich. Theyve organized a Festive Holiday Cocktail Portrait Party next Wednesday Dec. 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. and are raising money for Greenwich United Way. Caitlin McGauley, an illustrator at the hot new design e-mag, Lonny , recently painted portraits at the launch of the new Hermes mens store in Manhattan and she'll be there to paint guests one-of-a-kind portraits.
I gave them a ring and asked if I could bring some friends. The more, the merrier, they said, well raise more money for United Way. Youll need to make a reservation, so call (203) 661 4480. Portraits are $50. Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams is at 45 East Putnam Avenue, Greenwich.
