Cooking doesnt get much bigger than Anthony Bourdain. Chef, author and television personality, hes been lauded as the rock star of the culinary world, both for his ability to shock and entertain. And, like most rock stars, he draws a crowd. On Feb. 12, hell be turning up the heat at the Stamford Center for the Arts.
Most know Mr. Bourdain as host of the Travel Channels Emmy-nominated No Reservations. Others will have read his books, which the best-selling Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly, described by Bourdain's camp as a "candid, hysterical and sometimes shocking portrait of his life in restaurant kitchens." And some of us have had the pleasure of dining at his home base, the Brasserie Les Halles in New York City.
However you know Mr. Bourdain, this is your chance to get better acquainted with him. Hes sure to share some secrets from his kitchen. Hes also likely to pepper the evening with tales of his travels abroad. And you can bank on lots of laughs from this gourmet giant.
