The Great Easter Egg Hunt!: 10 a.m. The Darien Community Association’s Mom’s Morning In program will hold an Easter Egg Hunt for toddlers and preschoolers. The Easter Bunny will make a special appearance. The DCA’s Mom’s Morning In program is designed for parents, caregivers and grandparents with energetic toddlers/preschoolers. Cost is $10 per car. Book Signing – Lashaun Brown, Author of “Words of Encouragement:” 3 to 5 p.m. Lashaun Brown will hold a book signing at the South Norwalk Branch Library and celebrate the events leading up to writing her book, “Words of Encouragement.” Brown and her husband, Theodore A. Brown Jr., are co-pastor Christ’s Victory Center International Inc. in Norwalk. Free. South Norwalk Branch Library, 10 Washington St., Norwalk.

Easter Dinner at Roger Sherman Inn: 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Roger Sherman Inn will serve an Easter Dinner and host its second annual Easter Egg Hunt. A total of 1,000 eggs have been hidden across the inn’s lawn with prizes for children and adults. The inn is accepting reservations for dining beginning at 11:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.; the Easter Egg Hunt starts at noon and is open to patrons and the public. Roger Sherman Inn, 195 Oenoke Ridge Road, New Canaan.
