Tom Jones, writer of the book and lyrics of I Do! I Do!, the musical currently on stage at the Westport Playhouse, takes part in a discussion following the 3 p.m. performance on August 15. Jones and his collaborator, composer Harvey Schmidt, received an Obie Award and a Special Tony Award for The Fantasticks. I Do! I Do!, their next show, opened on Broadway in 1966, and starred Mary Martin and Robert Preston. Playhouse Artistic Associate David Kennedy will lead the post-performance discussion with Jones, which will include a Q&A with the audience.
