'Star Trek Into Darkness' Comes To Maritime Aquarium Imax

NORWALK, Conn. - "Star Trek Into Darkness," the latest in the "Star Trek" movie franchise, will open this weekend at the IMAX theater in the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk.

The film, which stars Chris Pine as Capt. James T. Kirk and Zachary Quinto as Spock, has already grossed more than $217 million at the box office in just over six weeks of release in the United States, according to IMDB.com and Exhibitor Relations.

The aquarium's IMAX screen is the largest in Connecticut. It is located on North Water Street in Norwalk.

The IMAX showings will be on Fridays and Saturdays at 6 and 9 p.m. and Sundays at 6 p.m.

"Star Trek Into Darkness" is rated PG-13, and tickets can be purchased at the box office or online at www.MaritimeAquarium.org.
