'Sinatra' To Wow Audience At Ridgefield Playhouse

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – It’s not Frank Sinatra on stage, but many say Steve Kazlauskas has come close. He performs at the Ridgefield Playhouse on Aug. 5.

Kazlauskas was inspired to become a singer after an exchange of letters with Sinatra himself. The Ridgefield resident works as a solo performer as well as with Big Bands across the country. He has performed at Mohegan Sun, The Count Basie Theater and many other venues. The show features renditions of Sinatra’s classic hits, accented by a glimpse into the iconic singer’s world.

Featuring Sinatra’s classic songs, including “Come Fly with Me,” “Strangers in the Night,” “That’s Life,” “Summer Wind,” “Mac The Knife,” “Lady is A Tramp” and “New York, New York,” the show will be “a feel-good evening of contemporary pop-jazzy swing music,” the Playhouse says.

Kazlauskas will be joined on stage by the Tony T. Sextet.
