Shrek Re-Sizes for Imax

Isn't the Shrek phenomenon big enough? Nope, not for families who have fallen in love with the big green Welsh-accented ogre. Now they can meet this blockbuster animated swamp resident, voiced by Mike Myers, on the Maritime Aquarium's six-story high IMAX screen when "Shrek Forever After" debuts on July 16 and runs through August 1.

The Newark Star-Ledger said, ".. by the time the film has concluded, it's easy to feel the whole series has come full circle. ... For once, though, I hope the filmmakers haven't ruled out another sequel. As 'Shrek Forever After' proves, there's life in the big green guy yet."

"Shrek Forever After" is directed by Mike Mitchell and is rated PG for mild action, some rude humor and brief language.?Tickets for "Shrek Ever After" on the Aquarium's IMAX screen are $11.50 for adults, $10.50 for seniors 65+ and $9.50 for children 2-12. For show times, visit the Aquarium's website.
