Thomas Savard calls his photographic style photo-impressionism. Check out his pictures on view in The Discovery Museum's upper gallery now through the end of June, "From Bridgeport to Barcelona," and you might tune into their post-apocalyptic frequency and pulsing energy. They're photographs, but they're paintings. Savard is a Connecticut artist who also has an MBA. Another surprising pairing. He also studied graphic art and photography and specialized in alternative photographic processes and hand-coloring. His cityscapes, buildings and water are backdrops seen from unusual angles. You might like the view. For more information, visit The Discovery Museum's website.
