The event, which was founded by Rowayton residents Paul Wolters and Cameron Letters in 2011, has grown from 20 runners in its first year to more than 1,000 participants in 2015.
The race, in which participants may walk, trot or run, includes prizes for best costume, best stroller, best male, best female and fastest children.
Beneficiaries include the Rowayton Arts Center, the Rowayton Gardeners and the Rowayton Volunteer Fire Department.
Registration for the event begins at 8:30 a.m. race day.
The route will go through the seaside village of Rowayton, with views of Long Island Sound, before finishing back at the community center.
Parking is available at Graham Capital across the street.
The registration fee is $30 online and $40 the day of the race.
The entrance fee for kids age 9-17 is $10. Children under 9 can participate for free.
Event sponsors include The Bait Shop, Fairfield County Bank, Mosquito Squad, The Restaurant at Rowayton Seafood and Runner's Roost.
