Pedal the Paths at Bike Night

Pedal over to Bike Night at Stamford Museum and Nature Center tonight, July 30. Starting at 5 p.m. families can arrive with their bikes and spend the evening cycling--and make periodic pit stops to see the attractions. The paths are paved so even little bikers can navigate them. As you ride along, you'll catch sight of Heckscher Farm's animals, in their evening wind-down mode. Park your bikes at the playground, for a climbing, sliding and swinging session and then, hit the saddle again, to find another place to rest--and explore. It could be at The Observatory, where at 8 p.m. Astronomy Night begins and visitors can view the night sky through a 22-inch research sized telescope. Bike Night costs $5 and is cancelled if it rains. For cancellation information, call (203) 322-1646. For more information, visit SMNC's website.?
