Norwalk's Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Decorates For Holiday Open House

NORWALK, Conn. -- The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum in Norwalk and New Canaan Dance Academy will present a festive holiday event with Santa Claus on Sunday, Dec. 13. 

The New Canaan Dance Academy will perform Dec. 13 at the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion’s Holiday Open House.

Santa Claus writes children’s wishes down at the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion’s Holiday Open House

The program will feature a performance by the academy with dancers ages 5 to 18. 

Visitors can check out the museum's Holiday Grandeur: The Manson's Toys and Trains Story exhibit. 

Santa Claus will appear with his reindeer from 1 to 2:15 p.m. to greet children and hear their Christmas wishes.

The Doll and Teddy Bear Victorian Tea will encourage children to practice good etiquette and creativity from 3:15 to 4 p.m. Space for the tea event is limited. RSVP by emailing info@lockwoodmathewsmansion.com or calling 203-838-9799 Ext. 4.

Admission is $5 and tea tickets are an additional $10. 

The event takes place from noon to 4 p.m. at 295 West Ave.
