NORWALK, Conn. -- Mayor Harry Rilling and local trade unions have announced a job fair in Norwalk for carpenters, plumbers, electricians and other construction trades.
The event will be from 3-6 p.m. Sept. 14 at the South Norwalk Community Center, 98 S. Main St.
“This is a good opportunity to enter a well-paying career in the trades and earn while you learn," Rilling said. "The Connecticut Department of Labor has identified these trades as growing occupations. In addition, upcoming construction projects in Norwalk will be creating more local jobs. If you are 18 or over, or will be 18 soon, come out and learn about these opportunities.”
