Norwalk Symphony Orchestra Hosts 'Messiah' Holiday Concert

NORWALK, Conn. – The Norwalk Symphony Orchestra will celebrate the holidays with a concert at Norwalk Concert Hall on Saturday, Dec. 6.

The concert begins at 5 p.m., and will feature arias from soloists Amelia Watkins (soprano), Audrey Babcock (mezzo-soprano), Brian Cheney (tenor), and Matthew Burns (bass/baritone).

In a continuation from last year's concert, the orchestra will perform the Christmas portion of Handel's "Messiah" with help from the audience. Conductor Jonathan Yates will turn around and conduct the audience as the chorus.

Patrons are welcome to bring their "Messiah" score to the concert, and copies of the chorus music will be available for purchase in the Concert Hall foyer.
