Norwalk Fireworks Set For Tuesday

NORWALK, Conn. – Norwalk's fireworks are scheduled for Tuesday, July 3, this year. When you park you might want to be mindful of what the traffic pattern will be when you leave.

Those who park at Calf Pasture Beach will be directed up Gregory Boulevard. Those who park at Taylor Farm will be directed up Canfield Avenue and ultimately onto Route 136 toward Westport. Norwalk Police will not merge the routes to facilitate a more orderly and quicker exit for traffic leaving the area of the fireworks.

The fun begins at 5:30 p.m. with the Amazing Andy Show at Calf Pasture Beach. Performances by The Amazing Andy (aka Andy Charney) include magic, juggling, comedy, audience participation and the appearance of a live rabbit.

At Shady Beach, entertainment kicks off at 6 p.m. with Dance to the Music with DJ Nuzzo. Bill Genaurio & The Destiny Band provide headline entertainment at 8 p.m.

Fireworks are at dusk. There is a $20 parking fee for cars without a Norwalk beach sticker. Stickers are available online here.
