The display in the library's lobby features artifacts dug up in the Norwalk area, both from historical and Native American sites, and photographs. In addition to offering a program of weekend digs at local sites, the NCC Archaeology Club meets monthly for evening lectures by professional archaeologists.
Its activities are open to the public, even those who are not NCC students. Anyone with an interest in archaeology is welcome to participate. For further information, contact Cynde Bloom Lahey, Director of Library Information Services at (203)-899-2780, ext. 15133 or clahey@norwalkpubliclibrary.org.
