Fare Walk For Food Allergy Steps Off At Sherwood Island State Park

WESTPORT, Conn. – The FARE Walk for Food Allergy will take place on Saturday, Sept. 27, at Sherwood Island State Park in Westport at 1 p.m.

This event takes place in communities throughout the country to raise funds for food allergy research, education and advocacy.

Registration begins at 1 p.m., followed by an opening ceremony at 2 p.m. The walk will start after the ceremony, rain or shine.

Participants can register individually or as part of a team.

According to Food Allergy Research and Education, food allergies affect up to 15 million Americans, including one in 13 children.
