“There’s a spiritual dimension to health that needs to be understood to experience health at its best,” Mehlenbacher said in a press release. “What we think and how we pray makes a big difference to our well-being.

“Living true to one’s spiritual individuality made in the likeness of God brings improvement to the human condition.”

Mehlenbacher, who has devoted over 20 years to Christian Science, says he bases his talks on Jesus Christ’s teachings in the Bible.

The First Church of Christ Scientist, Darien, and the First Church of Christ Scientist, Westport, are co-sponsoring the event.

“Health, Prayer and Healing: Finding the Connection” will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Norwalk Inn and Conference Center, 99 East Ave., Norwalk.
