Concert Benefits Family Programs

“Through our out-of-school programs and mentoring partnerships with the City of Norwalk, the Human Services Council (HSC), Family and Children’s Agency (FCA), and the YMCA in 2010,we provide a range of offerings from youth mentoring services, to academic services for low-income and at-risk youth, to employment and life skills development,” says Rev. Ray Dancy, Executive Director, of SAVE. SAVE stands for "Serving All Vessels Equally." To raise money for these necessary programs, SAVE, a local charitable non-profit organization, hosts its first benefit concert on Thursday, June 10, at 7 p.m. at the Norwalk Concert Hall.  Headlining the concert is Stellar Award Winning Artist the Reverend Donnie Harper, who has recorded several gospel albums with New Jersey Mass Choir. Tickets are $12 and $20. Proceeds will benefit SAVE programs which serve low and moderate income families and youth living in Norwalk. Doors open at 6 p.m. Norwalk Concert Hall is located at 125 East Avenue. For more information about sponsor levels, associated benefits, and concert tickets, contact Reverend Albert Ray Dancy at (203) 855-7901 or adancy2934@sbcglobal.net.
