Eclipse viewing parties will be held on the front lawns at the Main Library and the SoNo Branch Library. 

The party will be Monday, Aug. 21, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. The height of the eclipse will be at about 2:45 p.m.

Light refreshments will be provided courtesy of the library.

Monday’s event will be the first full solar eclipse in the United States in 40 years.
