Bobby Q’s Cue & Co. has opened in Norwalk's Waypointe District. The eatery specializes in pit-smoked BBQ and American fare with favorites such as smokehouse chili, wings, ribs, pulled pork and brisket.
Among Chef Ole Knudsen specialties: Pork belly banh mini’s, chipotle mashed sweet potato, smoked chicken and corn chowder, bacon laced ice cream sandwiches, "wood-kissed" wings, bacon cheddar grits and peanut butter cup s’mores.
Hand crafted cocktails and aged bourbons are also on the menu.
The new restaurant also features outdoor dining, a spacious bar and Bobby Q’s award winning 'Sweet Rack' BBQ sauce.
“We are excited to open our doors at The Block at Waypointe and serve the local Norwalk community," said Owner Bob LeRose.
"The restaurant and bar area accommodates as many as 140 diners and we are looking forward to welcoming both first-time patrons of Bobby Q’s and fans alike."
Speaking of "fans" -- there will be plenty of promotions come fall football season.
