Coca-Cola Promotes Weight Loss By Exercising, Not Cutting Sugar

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Sugary beverage giant Coca-Cola has teamed up with scientists to help promote the idea that weight loss stems from exercise just as much as healthy eating, according to the New York Times.

The campaign started as a response to slipping soft drink popularity, the article said, and hopes to debunk the myth that America's obesity problem is solely based on the consumption of high sugar and high fat foods.
