Fairfield County Man Among Trio Charged For Drive-By Shooting That Injured Four
Three suspects, including a man from Fairfield County, have been apprehended after four people were injured, one critically, in a drive-by shooting in Westchester.
On Thursday, June 10, at approximately 4:15 p.m., officers responded to the area of Elm Street at Oak Street in Yonkers on a report of a shooting incident with multiple victims.
Upon arrival, officers located three gunshot victims, the most serious of which having been struck in the chest, Yonkers Police said.
First Responders rendered medical aid to the victims and they were transported to local area hospitals.

Bicyclist From New Canaan Struck, Killed By Van In Pound Ridge
A bicyclist from Fairfield County was struck and killed by a van in Northern Westchester.
The incident happened on Saturday, Aug. 22 just before 1 p.m. in Pound Ridge.
The 2014 Ford Econoline van, operated by Lorenzo Davis, 33, of the Bronx, was traveling south on Route 137 (High Ridge Road), when, for unknown reasons, struck a bicyclist also traveling south on High Ridge Road, state police said.
The bicycle operator, Thomas J. Schultz, 70, of New Canaan, was pronounced dead by a Pound Ridge Emergency Medical Technician after life-saving techniques were unsuccessful.

CT Couple Sentenced For Stealing 500 Pieces Of Mail From Mailboxes
A woman and man from Connecticut who were busted with hundreds of pieces of mail during a traffic stop have been sentenced after admitting to robbing “rural” mailboxes in Northern Westchester.
Shamaty Pacheco, 20, and Axel Zuniga-Loor, 25, both of Waterbury, have been sentenced to five years probation after pleading guilty to one count each of criminal possession of stolen property, felonies, in February. Zuniga-Loor has been behind bars since his arrest.

Former Boyfriend Admits He Put Murder Victim Valerie Reyes In Suitcase, Authorities Say
A former boyfriend arrested on Tuesday for the murder of 24-year-old Valerie Reyes of Westchester admitted during an interview with law enforcement that he bound the woman and stuffed her inside a suitcase before dumping it in Greenwich.
Javier Da Silva, of Queens, admitted during an interview with an FBI agent that he did bound and put Reyes, a New Rochelle resident, in a suitcase and leave it in a wooded area, said a criminal complaint filed in White Plains Superior Court on Tuesday, Feb. 12.
