Man Driving Erratically Nabbed With Drugs, Gun In Trumbull, Police Say Trumbull Police arrested a Bridgeport man after he was reported to be driving erratically, and was allegedly found to be in possession of drugs and an illegal handgun. Police located the Hyundai Elantra driving on Main Street in Trumbull around 4:30 p.m., Monday, May 8, where the car was stopped and an investigation led to Keith Wilkerson, age 25, being taken into custody, said Lt. Serious Injuries Reported After Fiery Merritt Parkway Crash In Fairfield County Several serious injuries were reported after a fiery single-vehicle crash on a stretch of the Merritt Parkway. It happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3 on the northbound side of Route 15 in the Town of Trumbull.  Upon arriving, Connecticut State Police troopers observed a 2017 Ford Fusion facing the wrong way up an embankment near the Frenchtown Road overpass in the area of Exit 48 in the Town of Trumbull, Connecticut State Police said.
