Two Connecticut residents were arrested following a chase that began after one of the suspects tried selling cocaine to an undercover investigator in the Hudson Valley, police said. Same Store Burglarized Twice By Suspects From Fairfield County In Separate Incidents: Police
A total of eight suspects from Connecticut face charges after stealing from the same Hudson Valley store in two separate incidents, police said. The first of the thefts happened on Tuesday, Aug. 8 just after 4 p.m., when Putnam County Sheriff's Deputies saw several suspects entering and leaving an unnamed store in Southeast and delivering items to a vehicle in the parking lot. Man Wanted For Hit-Run CT Crash Nabbed In NY
A 32-year-old man wanted for a hit-and-run crash was arrested during a routine traffic stop. Marcellus Ferrell, 32, of Patterson, was apprehended on Saturday, Feb. 8, when stopped by Putnam County Sheriff’s Deputy Kevin Osika for a traffic violation, said the Putnam County Sheriff's Office. During the stop, Osika ran a check of the driver’s license and found that Ferrell was wanted for the hit-and-run involving serious injury or death in Connecticut, the department said. A Fairfield County man already convicted of driving drunk in Northern Westchester is now facing a felony DWI charge after driving under the influence in the Town of Southeast, according to the Putnam Sheriff. Man Living In Danbury Charged With Selling Crack Cocaine, Heroin
A lengthy investigation into the sale of crack cocaine in Putnam County led to the arrest of a man in Florida who was busted attempting to sell firearms in Orlando, the Sheriff’s Department announced. In November last year, the Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit received a tip that Rafael Veras-Molina, 28, of Orlando, who temporarily lived in Danbury, was selling crack-cocaine and heroin in Putnam. A 31-year-old armed man found with a "murder manifesto" is facing multiple charges after a traffic stop in the area, according to authorities. A man from Connecticut is facing drug and weapon charges after being busted with an illegal handgun during an early morning stop on I-84 in Putnam County. Benjamin Hartley, of Mansfield, was stopped by a Putnam County Sheriff’s deputy at approximately 2:40 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30 when he committed a traffic violation on the interstate while traveling through Southeast.
