Norwalk Grassroots Tennis & Education Merges With Stamford Youth Tennis Academy Norwalk Grassroots Tennis & Education has officially merged with Stamford Youth Tennis Academy as of Wednesday, Nov. 6. The merger comes in an effort to provide “stronger support services” for children and youth throughout Fairfield County. Varsity, JV Doubles Teams Will Compete At 11th Annual Autumn Classic In Norwalk Norwalk Grassroots Tennis & Education will host the 11th annual Autumn Classic Tennis Tournament for high-school age doubles teams on Sunday, Sept. 30.  The tournament will be played at Longshore Club Park in Westport and Weston Field Club. Boys and girls teams are invited to register for the tournament, which benefits Norwalk Grassroots Tennis & Education. The Autumn Classic begins at 9 a.m. and includes breakfast, lunch, trophies and gift bags for participants. Players can also compete in the “fastest serve” contest.
