Lack Of License Plate Leads To Traffic Stop, Drug Bust Assisted By K-9 Officer On I-84
A stop by Connecticut State troopers of a vehicle for not having a visible license plate on I-84 led to the arrest of a Fairfield County man for possession of drugs with the help of a K-9 officer.
Natanel Collado, 32, of Danbury, was arrested around 2:45 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 21, after troopers stopped his vehicle on I-84 in Danbury, state police said.
When questioned, alleged inconsistencies in Collado's responses prompted troopers to conduct a search, during which they found 57 Clonazepam pills and a digital scale, state police said.

Two local men were popped on drug-related charges during a traffic stop by Danbury Police Officer Alex Relyea and his new K-9 partner, Gunner.
Frederico Mateo-Ogando, 21, and Tahjae Roberts, 20, both of Danbury, were arrested around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday after being stopped in the Balmforth Avenue area, said Lt. Mark Williams.
