Know Him? Police Searching For CT Armed Robbery Suspect Police are asking the public for help identifying a man who robbed a Connecticut convenience store at knifepoint. The incident took place in New London County around 7:15 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 3 at the Henny Penny at  1270 Gold Star Highway in Groton. Groton Police said the man walked into the school, brandished a knife, and demanded money. Man Admits To Committing Multiple Violent Armed Robberies A 44-year-old man is facing 25 years in prison after admitting to federal robbery and weapon charges following a violent armed robbery spree late last year that spilled into January this year. Jeffrey Stokarski of Waterbury pleaded guilty in New Haven to one count of Hobbs Act Robbery and one count of using a firearm in relation to a crime of violence for a spree that lasted from Dec. 27 through Jan. 9 in Connecticut.
