Man Charged With Reckless Driving After Crashing Into Car In New Canaan, Police Say A 29-year-old man has been charged with reckless driving after police say he crashed into a vehicle in New Canaan. New Canaan Police say Edwin Pozo-Carabajo, 29, of Guilford was arrested on Sunday, Oct. 6 on an active warrant. According to police, Pozo-Carabajo was driving northbound on Smith Ridge Road when he swerved into the southbound lane and struck a motorist traveling southbound on Smith Ridge Road on May 17, 2018. Police say Pozo-Carabajo stated during the initial investigation that he may have fallen asleep while driving and did not recall the crash. An arrest warrant was obtaine…
