Thousands Expected For Annual Oyster Festival In Norwalk The 42nd annual Norwalk Seaport Association Oyster Festival is expected to draw thousands of visitors for performances, food, and fun. Mike DelGuidice & Big Shot, and Brian Howe will take the night off from performing with Billy Joel to headline the festival. The event, Friday, Sept. 6, Saturday, Sept. 7 and Sunday, Sept. 8 is held at Veteran’s Park, adjacent to Norwalk Harbor on Seaview Avenue in Norwalk. Waveny Residents Clown Around At Main Street Circus On Friday, September 21, Waveny’s “Main Street” at The Village was transformed into a 3-ring circus. Circus acts included a professional stilt walker, hula hoop performer and Waveny’s volunteer pet therapy dog, Meca, as “the gentle lion.” Even Waveny’s residents, short-term rehab patients and Adult Day Program participants tried their hands at some tricks of their own.
