Update On New Canaan Warming, Charging Locations With nearly 1,500 New Canaan Eversource customers still without power a week after the first of two major storms rocked the region, local officials have arranged for warming and charging stations for residents still out in cold. As of 2:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon, 1,338 of Eversource’s 8,453 customers were still reporting outages, affecting approximately 16 percent of New Canaan residents.
