20 Shots Fired: 8-Year-Old Hit During Shootout In Bridgeport An 8-year-old boy was shot during a shootout between two men on a Fairfield County street. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 11 p.m., Sunday, July 23, at the 300 block of Orchard Street when 16 rounds were detected by ShotSpoetter, and another four rounds were discharged within the 300 block of Spring St.  A few minutes later the Bridgeport Police Emergency Operations Center received reports of a person shot in the ear in the 200 block of Orchard Street, said Capt. Boy, 8, Seriously Injured In Two-Vehicle CT Crash, State Police Say An 8-year-old boy was seriously injured during a two-car crash in Connecticut. It took place in New London County around 5:45 p.m., Monday, June 27 in the town of Colchester. According to the Connecticut State Police, a GMC Sierra K3500 was driving east on Middletown Road in the rain when it struck a Toyota Echo driving south on Scofield Road into the intersection. Shortly before 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 22, the Monterey Police Department in Berkshire County requested assistance from the Massachusetts State Police with a search for an 8-year-old boy who had been reported missing.
