Like any other school, Fusion believes socialization should happen outside the classroom so the focus inside the classroom is on education, but they always keep in mind that you can't spell Fusion without F-U-N. Fusion offers a variety of opportunities to enhance the student social experience through events like prom, student meetings, night activities and the annual spring break international expedition. These programs not only allow for social growth but they can also create a bond between students that lasts a lifetime.
The staff at Fusion Academy, which offers programs from grades 6 through 12, also believes every student is unique, and they encourage their students to work through challenges that inspire them. The social opportunities available at Fusion differ from traditional schools, and benefit students who attend. For instance, Fusion intentionally blends different age groups in order to give older kids the chance to mentor younger students who may be struggling with homework, friends or personal issues. Students can also befriend those who are at similar developmental stages, regardless of age.
With its small, close knit community, the team at Fusion Academy is hyperaware of the social dynamics within the school. Students are provided with a safe and interactive place to learn and develop their social skills. Kids spend a lot of time on their smartphones and computers, so it's very important to construct programs and events to supplement student socialization.
