NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Members of the New Canaan Police Benevolent Association collected shoes and boots for the homeless from Dec. 7-17.
On Thursday, Dec. 18, PBA members delivered the collected boots and shoes to Norwalk’s Open Door Homeless Shelter.
The officers also helped serve and prepare lunch for the shelter’s clients.
The PBA says it is committed to helping the less fortunate during the holiday season.
This initiative was organized and led by Sgt. Andrew Walsh and Officer Roberto Lopez.
