SUFFERN, N.Y. -- Penney H. Barish, of Suffern, died Nov. 27. She was 69.
She was born Feb. 25, 1947, in Manhasset, to Evangelo and Stephanie Apostilakas.
She was retired from Washington Mutual in Norwood,. She was known as "Little Penny" and was an avid New York Jets fan for better or for worse. She always tried to look out for everyone.
She is survived by her son, Jim Barish; and sister, Kyle McAvoy and her husband Joe.
She was predeceased by her husband, Fred.
Friends and relatives may call from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Scarr Funeral Home, Route 202, Suffern.
