NEW CANAAN, Conn. Linda McMahon, a candidate for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate, will be a guest of Ladies Who Launch on Monday, Dec. 12, in New Canaan. The get-together will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at 16 Park Lane.
Kathy McShane, managing director for Ladies Who Launch of Southwestern Connecticut, said the gathering is not a fundraiser but a chance for good conversation among women who want to be informed.
This is a really casual night for ladies, she said, a night that will be a very interesting time to get to know a woman that has been a stay-at home mom, a working mom and now a mom with her sights on the U.S. Senate.
Ladies Who Launch helps women develop new businesses and grow existing ones by offering workshops, small group developmental meetings and counseling.
There is no charge for the event, and food and beverages will be served. Reservations can be made by visiting the Ladies Who Launch website or by contacting McShane at 203-803-9591.
