To the editor:
NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- We celebrate the life and memory of Andrew Clarkson, one of Waveny LifeCare Network’s most dedicated supporters and dearest friends.
An extraordinary philanthropist, Andrew will be remembered for the thousands of lives he touched, the people and organizations he helped, and the community he served. He had strong opinions, a clever wit, and a sense of purpose that was clear and unwavering. Anyone fortunate enough to have met him is better off for having done so.
For decades, Andrew was a trusted advisor and advocate of Waveny and the driving force behind our Drs. Charlotte & David Brown Geriatric Evaluation Clinic, one of the few geriatric assessment clinics in the state of Connecticut in a non-hospital setting.
We thank him sincerely for his wealth of wisdom, service and guidance, and will continue to honor his legacy and forward-thinking spirit by focusing on our organization’s and community’s bright future.
