NEW CANAAN, Conn. – New Canaan High School sophomore Caileigh Murray recently was named a national chairwoman of the Children of the American Revolution’s endowment fund.

The group is open to anyone 22 years old or younger, who is the descendant of a Revolutionary War patriot, according to a press release.

Murray and other members study history, promote patriotism, commemorate patriotic holidays and participate in state and national projects.
