Author Visits New Canaan Library To Talk About Escape From Nazis

NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- Local author Julian Padowicz will visit the New Canaan Library to talk about his childhood in Poland during World War II on Sunday, Jan. 11, at 3:30 p.m.

Padowicz' award-winning memoir, "Mother and Me," tells the story of 7-year-old Julian, the child of a wealthy Jewish family in Poland, and his escape from the country with his mother after the Nazi invasion.
