CT Infant Dies After Being Found Unresponsive, Police Say An infant who was found unresponsive died despite efforts by first responders in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Norwalk around 2:17 p.m., Sunday, July 10. Norwalk communications received a 911 call regarding an unresponsive infant. Immediately, the dispatcher handling the call began providing resuscitation instructions over the phone, said Sgt. Sofia Gulino, of the Norwalk Police. Acrobat Seriously Injured After Falling 25-30 Feet At CT Festival An acrobat who fell about 30 feet from a performance apparatus at a Fairfield County festival is expected to recover. The incident took place around 4 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 12, at the Norwalk Oyster Festival Saturday when one of the performers, Walter Murcia, with the Pirates Of the Colombian Caribbean acrobatic show fell about 25 to 30 feet from an apparatus.
