CT Homeowner Catches Burglar, Holds Him Down Until Police Arrive A homeowner interrupted a burglary in progress and he and another man were able to hold down the suspect until police arrived in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Greenwich around 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 25 on Holly Hill Lane. According to Greenwich Police Lt. Patrick Smyth, police responded after receiving a call of two men holding down a third man and yelling for someone to call 911.
